An alternative candidate for today’s politics
![]() |
This November Americans face a stark choice. Let’s face facts, the two main candidates Kush and Berry are awful. And by awful, we mean totally dismal. Question: Have you ever seen Bush and Kerry in the same room? Because they sure do seem to sing from the same songsheet. At times it’s hard to tell them apart, since they are both so enmeshed in the Machine. Luckily we here at the Revolution have discovered a much more attractive option: Nobody. While that sounds a little nihilistic, consider the facts concerning the 2004 campaign: Who will keep campaign
promises? Nobody. Nobody knows how to solve the economic crisis, balance the budget, win the War on Terror™, curb corporate excesses and bring lasting world peace. Nobody can get elected without corporate sponsorship, so Nobody can afford to avoid granting those corporations the favours want in return for their money. And therefore Nobody is free from corporate influence. Nobody can rein in the power of the corporations and lobby groups. Nobody’s policy platform isn’t up for sale to the highest bidder. In fact, a quick look at the candidates, and it’s quite clear that the best choice this November is Nobody. |
